Washington State Candidate Recommendations

OK, here's the list I promised. Feel free to contact me with any questions, this isn't a complete list and I will add to it as we get more responses.

These are mostly JUST candidates that have publicly supported Wolf PAC's call for an amendment convention, or opponents of those who voted against us, so the Democrat districts will favor incumbents and none of the senators got to vote.   Most of these guys voted party line, some were brave enough to cross, and we've had conservative senators express support.  Getting big money out of politics is a bipartisan issue that spans 96% of the population and is the FIRST thing we have to fix.

As far as NATIONAL candidates go, I suggest the DRIP policy (Don't reelect incumbent politicians).

US Senate: running against Murray is fellow Wolf PAC volunteer Phil Cornell, a self-proclaimed Berniecrat. Jeremy Teuton is also supportive.

Congressional Districts:

  1. Stafne (Berniecrat), Storms -Spoke to personally

  2. LaPointe

  3. David McDevitt (Berniecrat), Moeller (voted for HJM4000)

  4. Sorry, i got nuthin, don't vote for the incumbent.

  5. Joe Pakootas, Dave Wilson -says he is supportive as well.

  6. Coverdale

  7. Walkinshaw, Jayapal -Both voted for HJM4000

  8. Ventrella

  9. Daniel Smith

  10. Ferguson

Superintendant: CHRIS REYKDAHL!  He went out of his way to support us and put a LOT of effort into HJM4000.

Governor: O'Rourke -Supportive of issue.  This one's important, do your reading on gubernatorial candidates please.

Lt. Governor: Cyrus Habib I LOVE Steve Hobbs, but Habib actively supported us in committee

Treasurer: Marko Liias. If you lean conservative I've also spoken with Waite, who says he is supportive, an aussie with a lot of experience.

Auditor: Miloscia

Districts:

Walkinshaw and Liias
Walkinshaw personally lied to my face saying he was a Bernie Supporter, turned around before the California vote was even in and said Clinton had one it, and that we should support Clinton. Liias is the laughing stock of his own LD, and surround LD's. His own LD doesn't want to endorse him. We the Berniecrats have chosen John Comforde who is way more qualified. Marko funnedl $11k from his campaign through our LD to Gregerson's campaign, and has bankrupted his own families business. He has no experience.

Re: Walkinshaw and Liias
This isn't a Berniecrat list, these are people who voted to get big money out of politics. It should be even MORE bipartisan than it is.

Wilson recommendation
You are very misinformed on Dave Wilson, candidate for 5CD! He is a Republican running as an independent who is NOT a progressive. You have done your followers a big disservice by recommending him. He has zero political experience, a very unimpressive resume & no clue how congress works or the fact that he'll never be able to sit on a committee or legislate because you have to be appointed by one of the two parties. He's a flip-flopper that's been confronted by several audiences for his numerous dishonest statements.

Re: Wilson recommendation
He contacted WP and came out in favor of what we're trying to do.

Who would you suggest?

Please remove Dave Wilson! He is running as an Independent (last time he ran Republican). He points to lots of problems, but offers no solutions. He ignores most of the 5th CD and concentrates on Spokane County where most of the votes are! He doesn't realize that the 5th CD runs from the Canadian border to the Oregon border?! He also states he will support whichever party is in control, and he supports the TPP! You really need to do some homework! Our votes go to Joe Pakootas, a Native American who, as CEO of the Colville Tribe, sued and won the fight to clean up the Columbia River where Canadian mining was dumping crap into the river, all headed to the U.S. Joe is a "Bernie Thinker" and was chosen as one of those to introduce Bernie at his rally in Spokane. 5th CD recommendation
Please reconsider your recommendation for Dave Wilson. Wilson is a good judge of where people fall on the issues and couches his statements to reflect what you want to hear in an effort to secure support. When asked what he would do to "fix" what is wrong in Congress, he offers laundry lists of 'possibilities', but never says which ones he supports.
In the opinion of this Bernie supporter, Joe Pakootas is the best candidate to represent Eastern WA citizens. He's on the right side of women's issues, the environment, money in politics, the TPP, privatizing government functions, oil & coal trains, sensible gun regulations.....check out his website.... http://www.pakootasforcongress.com/

Ok. I'll post again! Joe Pakootas NOT Wilson! He says what he thinks we want to hear! Very much a flip-flopper! Joe agrees with getting big money out of politics. Go to his website and click on issues. We must get McMorris Rodgers OUT, but not with Wilson! PakootasForCongress.com

Spam again?! This is nuts! Is it because i post a link to Joe Pakootas website? He is running as a Democrat and wants money out of politics. Dave Wilson tells us only what he thinks we want to hear and is a flip-flopper and does not have any solutions for what's wrong in America!
5th CD. Do us all a favor and compare the two!

Here's your guy. We need to get this fixed FIRST before we can have effective, efficient social programs without the cronyism and pocket lining. This is why it's a bipartisan list and not just a list of Berniecrats. Almost every issue facing this country hinges on getting big money out of the election process.

Re: Wilson recommendation
He expressed support for getting money out of politics, which HAS to happen before we can have efficient social programs. This isn't a Berniecrat/progrssive list. Technically getting big money and dark money out of politics isn't even a progressive issue: It's resetting it back to pre-1978.
